目录结构

红帽 企业 Linux 的发行版本包括安装光盘和源码光盘，共计七张。

第一张安装光盘可以在当前的多数系统上被直接引导。它包含以下目录结构（这里的 /mnt/cdrom 是光盘的挂载点）：

其它安装光盘与第一张安装光盘类似，但只有 RedHat 子目录。

所有源码光盘的目录结构如下所示：

如果您要为 NFS、FTP、或 HTTP 安装设置安装树，您必须复制 RELEASE-NOTES 文件和所有安装光盘的 RedHat 目录下的所有文件。在 Linux 和 UNIX 系统中，以下步骤可以在您的服务器上正确配置 /target/directory （请对每个光盘重复此步骤）：

  1. 插入光盘

  2. mount /mnt/cdrom

  3. cp -a /mnt/cdrom/RedHat /target/directory

  4. cp /mnt/cdrom/RELEASE-NOTES* /target/directory（仅用于第一张光盘）

  5. umount /mnt/cdrom

安装

许多计算机都可以自动从光盘中引导。如果您有这样的机器（并且它被正确配置了），您可以不必使用引导盘而直接从红帽 企业 Linux 的第一张安装光盘中引导。引导后，红帽 企业 Linux 安装程序就会启动，您就能够从光盘中进行系统安装。

images/ 目录中包含 boot.iso 这个文件。该文件被用来引导红帽 企业 Linux 安装程序的 ISO 映像，它可以启动基于网络的安装而不必使用多个磁盘。要使用 boot.iso，您的计算机必须能够从光盘驱动器中引导，并且在 BIOS 中被正确设置。然后，您需要把 boot.iso 烧录到可写光盘中。
